Georgia SoftWorks Universal Terminal Server runs 5,000 simultaneous SSH Sessions on an Individual UTS Server during performance testing.

The Georgia SoftWorks Lab successfully tested and ran 5,000 simultaneous SSH sessions of their Universal Terminal Server (UTS) on a single sever. The GSW UTS is an industrial quality Telnet Server and SSH Server for Windows designed for superior operation in the most rigorous and demanding industrial environments.

“The Georgia SoftWorks SSH Server for Windows is globally recognized for its reliability, features, security and support. One of our stand-out performance features is our ability to run a high-session count on a single server. During our Performance Testing, we connected 5,000 sessions to a single server,” said Steve Lindsey of Georgia SoftWorks.

The GSW Lab did the performance testing on Windows Server 2012 with dual Xeon server with 128 GB RAM. Previously during pre-release testing, GSW connected 2,829 sessions to an individual server. Registration edits are required to connect more than 5,000 sessions to a single server.
