“2018 was an exciting year at Georgia SoftWorks,” said Steve Lindsey of GSW. “We exhibited a booth at Modex 2018. We made several feature releases to the GSW Telnet Server and SSH Server for Windows. We’ve welcomed new resellers as well as celebrated significant reseller milestones. One of our biggest feats of 2018 was the launch of the GSW ConnectBot, an SSH/Telnet Client for Android.”

In April, Georgia SoftWorks showcased their products at Modex 2018, the leading trade show for supply chain, manufacturing and distribution industries in Atlanta, GA. The GSW team had demonstrations on devices for their GSW Telnet Server for Windows, SSH Server for Windows, Business Tunnel, and their latest product, the GSW ConnectBot.

“Our biggest hit of Modex was our newest product, the GSW ConnectBot, which is an industrial grade SSH/Telnet Client for Android. It’s a solution many companies have been looking for and were thrilled to see that we now offer,” said Lindsey.

In 2018, Georgia SoftWorks launched their GSW ConnectBot. The Georgia SoftWorks ConnectBot is the most cryptographically secure, commercially supported Telnet/SSH client for Android, on par only with the GSW SSH Clients for Windows. The GSW ConnectBot’s features include running multiple SSH sessions at a time, persisted sessions when the user switches to another Android app, compatibility with a wide variety of hosts, configurable Answerback, configurable screen size and more. The GSW ConnectBot includes updated SAFE algorithms for 2018 with ciphers that have no known security vulnerabilities or weaknesses. The GSW ConnectBot offers the strongest encryption available on the commercial market.

Georgia SoftWorks launched their GSW UTS (Universal Terminal Server, the GSW Telnet Server and SSH Server for Windows) Version 8.09.0001 in March of 2018, that added new Automatic Reconnect/Session Saver Methods, updated the UTS Configuration tool, added a user defined Server Side Heart Beat Timer, reported IPD addresses with failed logon attempts and more. In November of 2018, UTS Version 8.09.0003 was released, which included major new features. This version added client self-termination, GSW UTS and GSW ConnectBot device and client information strings, enabled 3rd party client mouse operation, added logon inactivity timeout, added the capability to enable/disable the status bar and task bar and allows the SCP/SFTP to be directed to a UNC Path on the GSW SSH Server for Windows.
