Remote Control (Shadowing)
There is no substitute for actually viewing and controlling the device!
Remote Control (also called Shadowing) is similar to Monitoring but also allows you to actively take control of the desktop of the user's device. When shadowing, the administrator has the ability to provide input to the device using the mouse and keyboard as if using the stylus and keyboard at the device. The user of the device can still input data as well, so be sure that there is good communication as to who should be controlling the device to eliminate any confusion.
Each device in a Device Group is listed in a row in the "Available Devices" table. For each device there is a Monitoring (viewing) column and a Shadowing (Remote Control) column.

The icon in the Monitor/Shadowing column indicates if monitoring/shadowing is currently active(enabled). The icon with two people
is assigned to shadowing(Remote Control), since two people have control of the device.
The icon with one person
is assigned to Monitoring (viewing) since only one person is controlling the
device. Color in the icon indicates that the monitoring or shadowing is enabled.
Grayed out indicates that the feature is disabled.
An administrator can only monitor or shadow one device at a time, so the color will help to quickly recognize which device is being monitored or shadowed.
The icon acts as a toggle. If it is enabled, clicking will disable it. If it is disabled, clicking will enable it. Additionally, enabling Monitoring or Shadowing on one device automatically disables Monitoring or Shadowing of any other device.
