- Quick Tips:
- 1. Install Telnet Server to obtain Universal
Terminal Server
- 2. Install SSH Shield to Install SSH2 Server
components.

- Important Note: GSW Telnet Server has a New Default
Installation Folder. If you have a Telnet Server version
installed prior to version 6.50.0020 you will need to follow the
steps in either Option A or B below to ensure a smooth
upgrade.

- A. 1.Migrate
your Telnet Logon Scripts
- 2. Migrate your custom
text files to the new installation folder
- 3. Adjust any desktop
shortcuts you have on the server

- B. 1 Change the default
installation folder when installing the new
- version of the GSW
Telnet Server to the old folder. This is
- the
quickest, however you must remember to perform this
- step
for future upgrades too.
